About Us
Mission Statement
- The Licking County Genealogy Society is a Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society and its mission is to foster an interest of its members and the general public into genealogy and historical research and to preserve historical documents through acquisition, preservation and dissemination of genealogical and historical information for Licking County Ohio, its townships, cities and the State of Ohio. LCGS is a non-profit organization, incorporated under Internal Revenue Code 501 (c)3 on March 1974.
